This is an ongoing list of herbs that I pick and use in a variety of ways. I will try to note or link information that will be useful. Remember that this is how I use them and do not encourage or suggest that anyone should use them.
Stinging Nettle: I pick this plant as soon as there is enough to put in a tea cup. I prefer the taste of dried to fresh and we crumble the dried into stews, roasts, breads, biscuits, wherever we would use parsley or other seasonings. It is a daily nutritional tea for us in the winter as there are fewer greens of nutritional value.
